Geographical location
Joynagar Union is an ancient and reputed Union of Jajira Upazila of Shariatpur District. A tributary of the Padmanadi, the Kirtinasha river flows through it. To the north is Bara Gopalpur Union, to the south is Shaulipara Union of Shariatpur Sadar Upazila, to the east is Mulna Union and to the west is Shibchar Upazila.
